Thanks for stopping by Dottie. Your comments are greatly appreciated.
My favorite is the one by Catherine Pulsifer -"Being frugal does not mean being cheap! It means being economical and avoiding waste."
Wonderful words!!!! How often we forget these or don't want to hear them.
Thank you.
Thanks so much for stopping by RGraf. Your comments are always appreciated :)
truer words have not often been spoken. thanks for the compilation.
Darlene-Marie, this is a great collection of clever, cute, insightful, and classic quotations. (The only thing I have to sort of nit-pik over is that although being frugal can "reap liberty", being too frugal can be as imprisoning as being too poor. :) )
Of course, even though most of us love and believe words of wisdom in quotations; many of us must struggle without own deeply held belief that "the world is full of so many crummy things - heck, why not buy that new toaster oven if that would make you happy." :)
Thank you for stopping by and commenting :) I agree, we sometimes have a tendency to be over zealous or compulsive at things - even saving. However, I consider myself thrifty and frugal but not stingy or greedy. I picked up on both at a very early age and I think my husband is grateful for both of those qualities of willing to share and watching those pennies ;)
Nicely written. I love reading qoutes and sometimes use them on my lectures. This is definitely helpful.
Thanks so much JPSO138. I'm glad you like them and find them helpful!

Wise words indeed on frugality.
I loved Benjamin Franklins quote "Beware of little expenses; a small leak will sink a ship".
Great words too by Samuel Johnson "Without frugality none can be rich, and with it very few would be poor."
