WiserEarth Creating Connections

The World's Largest Movement
In May, 2007 Paul Hawken was one of the authors interviewed at Authors@Google and Google.org series. This event took place on May 9, 2007 at Google's main campus in Mountain View, CA.
Paul is an environmentalist, entrepreneur, journalist, and author. He discussed his latest book "Blessed Unrest: How the Largest Movement in the World Came into Being and Why No One Saw It" and related the beginnings of the web site, WiserEarth.org, which has taken off, grown and bloomed brilliantly just this year.
The community at WiserEarth is created by it's people, with all content entered and sustained by the community members, much like Wikipedia.
Explore to your heart's content....join in and experience what a real online community can be while interacting with other people worldwide and being able to contribute to this worldwide movement towards a better earth, and a better, brighter future for our children, grandchildren and beyond!
I find it amazing how the 'information age' and the internet have created an environment based on giving power back to the people, who in turn, hold each other accountable for actions that may harm our futures.
We can connect with others and work 'hand in hand', so to speak, to accomplish much, with each doing a little, consistently, versus just a few trying so hard to try and accomplish a whole lot on their own.
Finally, the World's Largest Movement is becoming a collective effort and gaining a momentum that is unstoppable.
The video of Paul's interview at Google is below and will look forward to hearing your comments,
