WoW Hunter pets are one of the reasons that make this World Of Warcraft class so attractive to many new users. WoW Hunter pets serve to allow a World of Warcraft hunter to level much faster than other classes if done proper because they can fight at several levels higher than their own.

If you want to make the most of WoW Hunter pets then I would recommend focusing on the beastmastery section of your talent tree. This area of the World of Warcraft talent tree can make WoW hunter pets extremely strong tanks and make it almost impossible for the hunter to pull aggro off their pets and continue to range fight which is the hunter specialty.

Hunters seem to have a bad rep in World of Warcraft simply because there are so many and so many poorly played WoW hunters.

Getting into a group with a hunter that truly understands the class and proper use of WoW Hunter pets can be one of the biggest assets to the party. On the other hand being in a group with a Hunter that has not matered the use of WoW hunter pets can be the fastest way to death for a party.

This is also the reason that you will not see very many WoW Hunter pets being used during instances. A hunter that cannot proper control his pet will wipe a group in an instance by pulling in unnecessary aggro at the wrong time.

Why WoW hunter pets would not be used during instance play is beyond me as it serves to add another tank to the group.

My best advice for new hunters is spend alot of time on your own practicing your WoW hunter pets skills. Learn to become a master of your pet and controlling it. Focus on the BM talent tree to build your WoW Hunter pets into a massive tank that will be an asset to any party.
