Whats a Addon?

In plain English, an AddOn is just some files you can put in your Addons folder that can (theoretically) improve your interaction with  World of Warcraft, For example, make it easier to play, or give you more information about what's going on in the game.

Some people always go on YouTube and ask the second most asked question on YouTube under "What music was in the video?" haha(Sorry But Its true) They Always Ask  What addon were used, Some people learn how to create there own addons So they can have a custom UI(User Interface) that no one else has. Some also Create addons to help out people or guild members.

There are thousands of addons to pick from, And they are catagoriesed into 27 catagories  

Auctioneer is a great addon it helped with auctions in the AH. With the tools that Auctioneer has put together can help you get massive amounts of gold. Have you ever been questing on a alt or even your main and got quest rewards that you didn't need? well when you hover over a item it will tell you how much it can sell for in the aution house and how much for the vendor. But You need to scan your AH either everyday or 2 times a week to keep track of prices.

 Or DBM, Deadly Boss Mod Is one of the greatest Addon i've ever downloaded. It also works in bg`s telling when you will get a base in arathi, and alot more. I can't thing of one thing that DMB hasn't saved me from in a fight. Without it we would be lost. Sence I Just Hit 80 About a week ago I'm Going To Use it Alot. But 80`s Are not the only ones that can use it. I've Used It On 5-man Instances From level 10-80. This is One Addon That You Need To Have When You Hit 80.

 Recount Is Mostly For Looking At how Good Your Dps, Heals, And alot more is doing. People Use It when there attacking a attack dummy in Ironforge to see if there dps is good or testing out a new spec. There's Not Really Anything To Tell About The Recount Addon, It shows who's doing the most damage, dps, overall healing, Damage taken, Activity, and a lot more. with custom colors or text that you can change.

 X-Perl UnitFrames is one of the best unit frame addons ever in the history of addons. Its totally customizable to your liking, and its 10x better then pitbull in my opinion. Lets you move your unit frames around like your portrait, your targets, and your targets target, aswell as changing there size. You can also move around your party frame.

 HealBot Continued is alot better then the regular healbot. But HealBot Continued Is 100% the BEST healing addon i have ever seen. It makes Healing So easy. With Just Mouse Clicks And Holding Shift or alt. You Can Heal Your Party Members. You Can Choose What You Want Also. But Its all in a movable frame so you can do other things with your mouse. You Can Change The Shape, The Color, And You Can Choose From What Partys You Want To See, So If your in a bg i don't think your going to need healbot to have the whole raid on it. Becasue people in your party arnt goign to always follow you.

Healbot is mostly good for raid healing, And Instances. I never had thought i would make a healer. But I started a Pally Healer, And most people say there mostly good for MT or OT healing, But With Healbot you can party Heal! I even use it when im pulling Camps Of mobs Becasue its soo fast.
