Sunquest Wolff Tanning Bed

There is a general misconception that Wolff Tanning Beds are their own brand of tanning beds. They're not. Wolff Brand makes and manufactures tanning bulbs. These tanning bulbs or lamps are then placed in several different tanning beds made by different manufacturers.

The most popular manufacturer is ETS. They manufacture Sunquest and Sunvision tanning beds and they are equipped with the Wolff Brand bulbs. Therefore, they would be called Sunquest Wolff tanning beds or Sunvision Wolff tanning beds.

If you are looking for a tanning bed for home or commercial use, I would recommend purchasing either of these beds because they come from a company that has been in the tanning industry for many years and the Sunvision, Sunquest, and Solaris brand beds they make are just as popular and well known as the "Wolff" brand itself.

Wolff Brand Tanning Bulbs

The Wolff Brand tanning bulbs/lamps come in many different product names and sizes.  There are a few sizes you should be concerned about.  The sizes are usually listed as F59, F71, and F73.  The most common are the bi-pin lamps and those are usually the F71's.  The F59's would be the shorter lamps that typically go in beds that have facial lamps.  The facial box takes up more space and therefore leaves little room for the tanning bulb.  Usually, the shorter F59 bulbs are the ones that go underneath of where that facial box is.

F73 or RDC lamps are ones that have a black cap at the end of each lamp instead of two pins.  These lamps are usually installed by meeting up the black cap to the lamp holder and pushing the spring loaded holder back a little so that the other end goes into the lamp holder.

When order tanning bulbs, you definitely need to make sure which bulbs and bulb types you have.  They usually have a black printed stamp on each lamp with the logo, bulb type, wattage such as 100w, and bi-pin or RDC.  You may even have to take one bulb out to make sure.
