What Celebrity Tattoo Where?

Americans are especially fascinated with the lives and fashions of famous pop stars, supermodels, and actors/actresses of Hollywood. So naturally, as celebrities began appearing at red carpet events dressed in lavish Couture and surprisingly accessorized with permanent tattoo designs, it stirred the curiosity and intrigue of where the famous actually wear their ink.

Take a look at some of the most popular tattoo body areas among women and names of idolized celebrities that dare to bare ink there.

Lower Back Tattoos are at the top of the list for some of Hollywood's leading ladies. The lower back considered a very sensual, sexy place on a woman, is also one of the most versatile places to tattoo as it can be exposed on the beach, and covered in the office. Lower back tattoos can be shared with a love partner and be a secret hidden from the rest of the world. Angelina Jolie, Jessica Alba, Eva Longoria, Norah Jones and Lucy Liu are names of just a few of the fabulous famous with lower back tattoos.

Neck Tattoos, once considered taboo among the majority of tattoo artists, have become more and more prevalent over the past few years. The shifting of the social acceptance boundaries in tattooing is the result of the explosion in tattoo popularity. Some of the beauties putting their necks out on the line include Alyssa Milano, Brittany Spears, supermodel James King, and musician Kelly Clarkson.

Ankle Tattoos are always increasing popular among supermodels. Many women prefer ankle tattoos because they can easily be shown or covered with just a quick change of clothing. Christy Turlington, Rebecca Romijn, Denise Richards, Christina Applegate, and Penelope Cruz are just a few names of lovely ladies decorated with ankle art.

Upper Arm Tattoos, specifically female armband tattoos have literally come around again in popularity. In particular, Tribal Band tattoos have been increasingly in demand and more than likely have paid for a large number of artists' Harleys parked in front of tattoo shops. Pamela Anderson helped to trigger the "band wagon" with her sexy barbwire tat.

Breast Tattoos are popular and there is a difference between chest and breast tattoos. Examples of breast tattoos are widely searched on the Internet. But if you are looking for celebrity breast tattoos look to Teri Polo, Christina Ricci, and Rapper Eve.

Hip Tattoos are considered to be the most attractive and sensual tattoos among women. Women often wear bikinis and low cut pants displaying their designs. Sarah Michelle Gellar, Reese Witherspoon, and Drew Barrymore are among the stylish with their "hip" tattoo designs.

Foot Tattoos or "Pedi-Souvenirs" are known to be popular among vacationers as permanent mementos of a great trip. Famous tootsies sporting tattoos included Carrie Otis, Kate Hudson, Charlize Theron, and all three Dixie Chicks.

Wrist Tattoos are another popular area chosen among the stars. A wrist tattoo can be easily hidden under a watch or decorative bracelet if need be. Lindsay Lohan, model Sara Spraker, Carmen Electra

Full Body Suit: In the past, the tattoo term "full body suit" excluded the neck, hands, and feet so the an individual could "cover-up" or go incognito wearing a suit or long dress when attending social functions. Today, a full body suit tattoo is just that - head to toe and all of that in between. Among those daring enough to sport the "suit" are tattoo fashion icons Kat Von D and Theo Kogan.
