So you have a passion for travel and want to explore the world, but you are single or your husband doesn't share your desire to hop aboard a plane and go! So what do you do? You travel solo!

There are a wide variety of women's only travel companies and clubs out there that are made just for you — a woman who wants to explore the world, yet doesn't really feel comfortable doing it on her own. The benefits of traveling with an organized group tour for women is the fact that you can do so and have the entire trip planned for you by travel experts who know the ins and outs of a destination, how to get from here to there, and will save you plenty of time and money in the process! Plus you don't need to be finding your way in a foreign country where you don't speak the language and aren't sure of the good and bad neighborhoods!

Many women who take these tours find that they create new friends for life — and travel together with their newfound friends on future trips. A number of these travel companies also realize that women travel differently than men, and as such, include plenty of free time for sightseeing, cooking classes, and other activities that women genetically love to do!

So don't let life pass you by. If you want to get out and see the world, check out a women's travel company and get packing!

I love traveling and have traveled alone and in a group many times. I think that having your own space is important but I like the company of others so I have learnt to compomise and travel in a group but with a single supplement and so have my own room to retreat to at night. Thanks for this hub I enjoyed it.
