Canadian and American Female Wrestlers in Lucha Libre

I have a couple of female wrestling Hubs about the women of Lucha Libre that seem to be fairly popular among readers.
But of course not all of the Luchadoras there are from Mexico.
A lot of American and Canadian female wrestlers have a second home (and even a second career in some cases ) south of the border.

Independent female wrestler and SHIMMER star Sara Del Ray (Sara Amato) has competed for wrestling promotions like IWA Mid-South, Ring of Honor, All Pro Wrestling, Chikara and she even wrestled masked here as Nic Grimes for the ill fated MTV promotion, Wrestling Society X.
That may have been a play on words of sorts since Sara first started out in All Pro Wrestling in Hayward, California as "Nikki".
Sara has wrestled for Mexico's Lucha Libre Femenil as American Angel.
She started out wrestling masked, but lost her mask to Tsunami in a match on December 16, 2005 at the Arena Femenil in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

Lauren Williams (Angel Williams) who you may know better as TNA Knockout Angelina Love, also wrestled briefly for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración under the ring name Canadian Angel after being released from Ohio Valley Wrestling back in 2007.

The beautiful and popular Indy female wrestler April Hunter has wrestled in Mexico extensively, wrestling for the AAA, CMLL and Lucha Libre Femenil wrestling promotions.
Of course she has also wrestled in Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, France and Puerto Rico.
She really does get around.

Independent female wrestler "The Portuguese Princess" Ariel (Ana Rocha) has wrestled for Lucha Libre Femenil and once held the LLF Juvenil title in Mexico.

Popular Indy wrestler "The Mississpi Queen" Christie Ricci wrestled in Mexico for LLF and held the LLF Women's Wrestling Title at one time.

Indy wrestler Daizee Haze has toured quite a bit in Mexico working for various promotions. She has teamed with popular Mexican Luchadora Diana la Cazadora there.

Current WW* Diva and Former TNA Knockout Gail Kim also did some wrestling in Mexico back in her Indy days I think masked as La Felina.

Canadian female wrestler Aurora has wrestled for Consejo De Lucha Libre Independiente, Federation Femenil De Lucha Libre, Lucha Libre Feminil and Arena Coliseo, most recently masked and using the name Goddess.
On October 7, 2008 at the Arena Mexico, Goddess lost a mask versus mask match against Princesa Sujei. Aurora continued to wrestle in Mexico until February of 2009.

Wrestler, manager and valet Lizzy Valentine was a valet for Juventued Guerrera for awhile in Mexico, and even got herself a mask and climbed into the ring to do some wrestling.
As a wrestler, she once held the AAA Women's Championship.

Independent Canadian wrestling star LuFisto has had several wild matches in Mexico against some of the top luchadoras.
In Lucha Libre Feminil she held the LLF Extreme Championship.
And trust me, if you haven't seen this lady, she IS extreme!

Former TNA Knockout Nikki Roxx has wrestled for Lucha Libre Femenil, and once held the LLF Juvenil Title and the LLF Tag Team Titles with luchadora Diana la Cazadora.

Of course this isn't all of the stars that have crossed over into Lucha Libre.
Some old school greats like Peggy Patterson, Penny Mitchell, Sherri Martel, Vicky Williams and Woman (the late Nancy Benoit) made appearances in Mexican arenas.
Maybe another Lucha Libre Hub is in order.....
