Women's belts have long been a fashion accessories that women just love. Sash or chain belts as they are more commonly referred are great for those outfits that you do not need a belt but want to break up an outfit or add accessories to your outfit. You tie the sash around your waist to add color or definition to your outfit. The chain belts are a funky trendy accessory that can come in links of stars, hearts, ovals or another cool design. They are great for wearing with a cute dress especially a little black dress.

The next step after deciding the type of belt you need is finding out what size belt you will need. Womens belts typically run in sizes small to x-large but you can find smaller and bigger ones than those sizes. Measure the belt around your waist before you buy it be sure that it will fit comfortably in one of the holes that are made. If you end up buying a belt that is to small you can always poke another hole into the belt yourself especially if it is leather which makes it easier. 

Different belts offer different belt buckles. There is the regular ordinary belt buckle which is usually round or square that you put the belt through to secure it. They come in brown and black as well as a variety of colors if you prefer. A d-ring belt buckle as it is usually referred is a belt buckle in which there is no holes on the belt you simply use the belt buckle to fasten the belt to your waste. They have them in regular colors such as black and white but they also offer a great variety of colored belts. If you are wearing an outfit in which you do not want the belt buckle to show than you can opt for a covered belt buckle. With this style belt the buckle is actually covered by whatever fabric the belt is made of so it looks like one continuous piece instead of having a big medal piece in the middle.
