As a techno geek, I take pride in researching software programs for the fun of it.

I have been trying to look for a solution that allows any avid picture taker or movie maker to put their creation on the web to make it available for the world.

My mum has plenty of pictures (really beautiful ones) that have no where to go...until now.

Most flash slideshow builders out there are for the lack of a better word, substandard. They are either too hard to use or of limited functionality. Today, whilst on my daily hunt for cool useful software, I stumbled upon a unique piece of software that deserves attention.

I generally do not enjoy using slideshow builders, because they really serve no other purpose than to organize photos in sequence. This is what windows explorer Thumbnail view does automatically. The installation file is only 11.1MB which is hardly anything and will take no time to download.
The interface of the software couldn't have been made anymore foolproof.

The entire slideshow creation requires 3 steps.

Step 1: Browsing for and adding the images you want to star in your show.

Step 1a (optional): Editing. Can be as easy or as complicated as you want it. The options are clearly displayed so you will not have to go on a hunt and seek expedition.

Step 2:Transition/theme selection. Here, you can choose from over 200 transitions that comes standard with the software. The Themes, like transitions allow you to further your slideshow. Included for your convenience are thirty individually customizable themes.

Step 3: Simply Publish your work of art andthe software will automatically generate your flash show. Several output settings you can choose from are SWF, online album, HTML, EXE or screen saver.

I guess the toughest choice, when working with this application, is choosing the pictures you want to include in your show. Editing them is quite a stroll in the park, as the software does not provide intricate menus or uncommon options.

The Good

You will be hardpressed looking for another application that combines the simplicity with the stunning and impressive output that this flash slide show builder is capable of . Creating a screen saver or beautiful photo album is effortless and above all, quite fun.

Do not be fooled by the apparently simple interface. This powerful slideshow builder contains everything a beginner needs and many additional features that the 'pros' will want.

The software is not free. But, you can have a 30 day trial and squeeze as much fun out as I have :)
