Having completed our telephone survey of hundreds of dogs from various walks of dog life, we have compiled the following facts, as well as reached certain conclusions, from those dogs who completed the survey: (The survey theme was mainly concerned with "wooden dog houses, a resident dogs point of view" )
The major issue is that Dogs like to have a dog house if they are going to be out doors! Now, we know that this might come as a shock to many readers, however, we can assure you that it is true.

The top choice, of top dogs
Of course, they volunteered some other dog house specifications, these varied according to the size of the dog we interviewed. So, no one size dog house will suit all dogs, this was just as we anticipated.
Generally speaking, most responses as to location of living quarters could be divided into three groups:
1. Small dogs want to be indoors, that was fairly unanimous all across the small dog board.
2. Medium sized dogs were divided between indoors and out doors.
3. Large Dogs had a general liking for the great outdoors, in there own dog house.
This question came as a great surprise to us. We were expecting most out door dogs to want to be placed in the back yard and a good distance away from the house. However, this was not the case.
Our survey indicated that the majority of dogs wanted their wooden dog houses to be place were frequent owner contact could occur. It did not seem to matter if it was back yard, beside the house or in the front yard, the big message being relayed here is that the dog s seemed to enjoy frequent contact with humans.
(This survey has a "bark" variance of plus or minus 3 %).
