I use Wordpressdirect ALL THE TIME.  It is one of the best tools I have.  I am able to manage multiple websites.  Some of them I manage manually and others I manage automatically.

Wordpress Direct allow me to pick and choose content from around the web and then load it into my blog with almost no effort.  After I do that I can comment on it and edit it to my heart's content.

If you want a more automatic option then it does that too.  You can set the blogs to go get content automatically and then post it at regular intervals.  If you want you don't have to do anything to have the blogs working for.
