When a Web was a Web and a Spider was a Spider

Only 50 years ago there were three basic forms of electronic, person to person, communication in existence on this planet. The radio, the telegraph and the telephone. The idea of sending information via sattlelight was in the development stages but was out of the realm of the imagination of the average person. Having a personal computer where you could Skype video messages to one another over a world wide web was something that may possibly have been integrated into a few science fiction novels at best. Advertising over the air was in its black and white infancy, consisting of some TV star testifying how good a product was for their lives or a cartoon Tiger telling you that a sugar coated flake cereal was Grrreaat! The concept of a company not only advertising over a world wide internet but maintaining their entire presence there was the limited to the chatter of Sci Fi eccentrics. But only fifty years later here it is! Companies in the latter part of the last century fought to gain prominence on this new technological adventure park that had landed on the desks of homes and offices around the world. Anyone with .com after their name was positioned to make a fortune in sales. Ooops! There was only one problem. Nobody seemed to realize that, just like a store on dark back road, if customers can't find you, you will not have many customers. Thus was born the search engine! The term engine in electronics is a household word like email today but in the eighties it was an inconceivable term to most! Now Google has become a verb in the English language and a spider, or crawler, is what is used to to find a website by certain keywords or phrases that are contained within its text. So today something off the web is no longer a dead bug and a spider is not always how it became dead. There has, however, been a wireless web that dwarfs the internet in size and power and has been there forever and will remain so. it has, unlike the worldwide web, never been inconceivable, at least, until the conceit of todays techno population has clouded,or even denied its existence. I am speaking of the universal web!

Supernatural People Search

One of the most popular searches on the internet is the people search! People are always looking for people! Whether it is a long lost relative, a former classmate or a celebrity, people are looking for people. People are also looking for information on people, and what they search for is not always driven by the best of motives. They will go to Google, Amazon, Ask or Bing and type in the persons name followed by words like "scam" or "dirt" or "rumor." In an attempt to find something negative. Well guess who is searching for you?

Unlike the internet, on the universal web there are only two search engines. They have several names depending on the beliefs of who is being searched out! Some call them positive and negative or good and evil! Whatever you may call them they exist in the unseen realm and are attracted to keywords and phrases and use their own form of crawlers. As a Christian I believe that they are angels and demons that are either sent from Heaven or from darkness. My Jewish friends would believe the same. Others might refer to them as gravitational pulls from different positive and negative bodies in the Universe. That is their choice! What ever you wish to call them they do exist and there has been evidence of this since the beginning of mankind! If you say over and over again that you feel stressed you will under no uncertainty, have something suddenly appear in your life to make you more stressed The guy behind you in traffic, who is normally Mr. Patience, suddenly decides to blow his horn You look at your dashboard and your temperature guage is approaching the red H. It is as if a stress spirit is patrolling around like a taxi waiting to be hailed. The driver heard you yell "I feel stressed." There is your key word! Stress!

The word that seems to be one of the biggest negative magnets is the word problem! How many times do your hear someone say "the problem is..." or "that could be a problem?" Or even dress it up like "problematic." The word invites the spirit of difficulty. Try replacing it with the word challenge and now you are inviting the spirit of competitiveness! In competion there is always a winner and losing just drives the person towards improvement. Some problems are never solved and grow bigger and blossom into the word crisis! Problems should be left in math class!

The bible addresses the power of the spoken word in many places. For example, "From the same mouth come blessing and cursing." James 6;10. "A soft word dispells wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Psalm 15;1. What leaves your mouth goes into your own ears and to your subconsience! Science has discovered that this causes your brain to release toxins that travel throughout the body and weaken the immune system. So now you are not only sending negative emotions out into the unseen to attract evil but you are creating a playground for free radicals within your body for damage to occur. Sort of a one two punch to the spirit and the flesh!

Make a conciensious effort everyday to replace negative words like can't, hate, sick, and lose with words like will, love, well and win. If you are not feeling well say you are feeling better! If you are having a difficult situation say you are up to the challenge. If someone does you harm pray for them rather than cursing them! Eventually you will be augmenting the positive in your life while quenching the negative!

Remember that the ultimate positive statement is "God loves me"! Say that everyday when you start your day and troubles will melt away! Everytime difficulty looms in the forefront of your mind replace that thought immediately with God loves me! You will be amazed at how the ultimate positive keywords from the heart will turn what you used to call a problem into an inconvenience and then a memory!
