If you are unemployed and is looking for a kind of job which is a home-based job, then you might have had searched all over the internet and find some very promising money making site just being at home. But then when you sign up for them they want upfront money instead, before you can start working. Some may go for it but some don't. It is too risky.

There are so many scams over the internet that you have to be careful about. I know someone who has been a victim. He said, the money-making site was very promising that you will likely become a rich man in a matter of time. He was carried away and signed up and paid the upfront so-called membership fee with his credit card, only to find out it was not real. And it was just a scam. Until now, he didn't get his money back.

Now, He is another statistics of a scam victim. But I am different. If there's a moneymaking site that advertised how you will generate big income in no time then I simply X out that site, especially when they want upfront membership fee which is quite big. I just simply don't believe such thing. As far as I know, the real work at home job, do not let you pay anything at all. It is 100% free. And it is them who is going to pay you, It's not you who pays them. And besides, one way to earn big is to work hard.

Now, i will tell you about the reason why I write this article. First, I am working in the comfort of my home. I am only able to work at home this time because I have a baby who is under 1 year old. The greatest reward working from home is to be able to spend time and be with my very precious baby all the time. You cannot put a price on that! Taking care of her, and being there for her all the time is my priority.

I am a call center agent based from home. I work in a company based in California.

There are more than 600 call center agent in our company. I am working at the comfort of my home, and I choose my work scheduling time. I can only work few hours of the day because of my baby. I can only work if she's sleeping. In connection with that, I have freedom in my time.

You can choose what time you want to work. I handle calls from customers all over the United States, and Canada who will order stuff that is being advertised on TV. I'm sure you've seen alot of TV infomercial on different kind of products, well, I'm one of the agent who handle those type of calls. It's fun. If not, tiring sometimes if no calls are routed to you because of the low call volume sometimes. But it's okay, in this kind of business, that is normal. But on weekends, there is a very high call volume that sometimes, you get so tired of answering the phone. I enjoyed it though, because I'm trying to help my husband and family.

In my work at home job, I take orders and I have also been a customer care agent before.

And what I like about this is that, they pay you by minutes that you are on the phone with the customer that is being routed to you. Your income basically depends on the mintues you were on the phone with a customer. In the company where i worked, we are getting paid by minutes, and per minutes is .25 cents, plus you get incentives if you have convinced the customers for club enrollments, membership and transfers.

Each agent's income each day really varries. If you work full time, like working many hours without long break and many calls are routed to you then you surely get good income after the day.

Your income generally depends on the call volume that is routed to you. During weekdays, the call colume is not that high, and on weekends, it gets high, but still, call routing depends on your perforamnce also. If you have good performance, then you will be routed with high call volume, but if your performance is poor then you hardly get a call.

If your committment performance is excellent then you will really earn enough, In fact some agents I know is making this their main job as to some of them have been laid off from work. This is a blesing to them. And is a big blessing to me also.

I get to know of this company through a friend of my husband who is making generally more than $3,000.00 each month. Not to mention, on my second day doing this job as call center agent, I got paid $75 in just few hours. I am assigned as a customer care agent.

If you work many hours in a day then you will generate big income after the day and you can generate income as much as you want. All you need in this job is Time, committment, good Public Relation, good selling skills. And all you need is a computer with internet connection and a dedicated telephone landline.

You will also need some patience because some customers may be hard, especially if you are assigned on the customer care line like I said before. When I took my very first call, I messed up, I was so nervous! you will be! trust me. But now I'm seasoned.

By the way all calls are recorded, all standards of performance on the company must be observe or you will be terminated. All in all, if you want to succeed in the sales marketing, you need to have good sales skills and thorough knowledge of the product or services you are working for.

Yes, freelancers and independent contractors are paid on a project basis, but usually their skill levels are higher. And a real home business is developed over time with careful planning and research, not purchased online sight unseen.

Getting Started Finding Legitimate Work at Home Jobs

When getting started searching for work at home jobs, look to your own skills first. There are many careers for work at home moms, but most start with skills gained in the external workplace.

Problem is that some people, who may be just starting in the workforce, may not have those skills. Or some are coming from a career path that is not easily transferable to the virtual workplace. However, there are companies that hire work at home employees in jobs requiring a high school education or less.
