The Coming Work At Home Rush

With thousands of people losing jobs everyday, many of these newly unemployed with be rushing head long into almost any kind of work From Home venture that present it self. here in lies the problem. The attitude of working from home, in the mind of most people is, someone will give them specific task to complete, like their old job, they complete the task, more or less and they get paid. Problem is those days are over, in the physcial world as well as in the virtual world. No one is going to pay to have envelopes stuff. No one is going to pay to have some one type a letter that can easily be dicated with software such as Dragon Speaking Naturally or even the built in apps of Windows. In general people are scamming themselves into believing that mundane task that can easily be automated still hold any real income producing potential. The fact is most of the work we do is purely mundane and completely unnecessary. However, in troubled times people seek the known and comfortable and for most people that is to work weather at home or on a job.

In order to succeed, work has to be replaced  with business models that innovate and take advantage of the technoly and resources available.Anyone seeking to simply work from home will find themselves lining the pockets of those whose business model is simply to sell dreams and illusions.

There are many legimate money making opportunties on and offline, but jobs are becoming few and far between, what is needed are businesses that fulfill the needs of other businesses and consumers. Don't understimate thae things that make you unique.

The formula for successful businesses has not changed, niether has the scams that take advantage of those that do not approach the ventures as business and are only looking for a job to replace or suplement the current job. The reasons our corporations ar failing is that they do not follow good business pratices and simply strive to get rich, the main reason most once successful businesses fail.

Avoid The Work From Home Scam

How can you avoid the Work From Home Scam, that will be push on other and often self-inflicted?

1. Approach the venture from the perspective as of a Business owner from the very start. Rich Dad -Poor Dad author Robert Kiyoski aptly explains the mindset necessary to be successful in the coming economy.

2. Research, Act, Research Act - many people generally get hung up one one of these steps. Some people will research and research and research some more and never act on their findings or ignore the finding and scam themselves into making bad decisions. Some people will act, often out of fear, with little or no research and dive wallet first into every work from home scam that they come across until the money runs out. Success is a seven letter word, perhaps symbolizing balance.

3. Take note of what works - don't let profit be your only motivations. If we should have learn anything from the last decades of greed and the insane quest for profits, is that no single ism has all of the answers, not Capitalism, Socialism, Communism, Chauvinism, Feminism, Multiculturalism, or Racism. The only thing that can guarantee success is balance.

Each year Business magazines publish list of the best businesses to start, one thing that all the recommedations have inome is that they provide a needed service. Most of what is recommed is opposite from what the usual scams are based upon. Then businees that are recommend require personal attention, active thinking, and work in the terms of creativing value and fixing proplems. Most prime work at home scam candiates are usally looking for the job that requires, no work, will run itself, offers very little value and only seek to get paid for a task has little to no lasting value.

Believe it or not we do best and are at our best when we  positively  interactive with each other.

A very timely hub, I really hope and pray that it helps some people out there.

As usual, you head the nail squarely on the head! And the reason that I have not done anything with my knowledge of computers and systems since I retired two years ago. I am just completely burnt out! But since I have been caught in two "RIFs", Reduction In Force, well three if you count the buyout.

I have a little first hand experience in these areas!
