Why I Got Fed Up With Selling My Freelance Articles

1. Clients were often only prepared to pay a few cents and were prepared to accept low quality writing from overseas as their main priority was low cost.

2. Clients were using my articles to add monetizing elements such as google adsense, in context links, kontera, and affiliate marketing business products to the articles I sold them, thus making a lot more from them than they had paid.

3. I decided to keep all my own articles and use them to generate revenue myself.

4. Many successful internet marketers seemed to be able to gain far higher placings than new freelance writers and generate higher earnings - even publishing them, and adding product sales to their articles, hubs or lenses.

5. I liked the idea of owning all my own content and combining them into an online business writing, marketing and promoting useful products to readers who might be interested. 

There may be more revenue associated with creating and selling your own product!

Products are not limited only to solid packages, for example a 'product' can be information. inside knowledge, experience or tips.

A product could also be a creation such as a handcrafted item, a novel or a design that can be transferred onto gifts such as clocks, mugs, T shirts, bags or hats.
