Don't just focus on adsense! I would try other ways as aan accompaniment such as affiliate marketing etc.. Never keep all your eggs in one basket!
So how do I capitalize on earning thru adsense? I've managed to earn....62 cents? This is after writing on hubpages for three or so months. Is there a key ingredient I'm missing?

I have a query and would appreciate a response. Having viewed some remarks in the forum, I disabled kontera from my hub pages. In similar fashion, if I do away with, or reduce the number of amazon ads on my pages, what changes could I expect? ... I mean in terms of hubscore or whatever else ... ?

With regards to removing amazon ads from pages, yes, you will get a better click through rate from AdSense because there are people who will click the amazon ads without buying anything! having said that, one amazon sale can be 100 times more profitable than a click from AdSense! so its about weighing up the situations which is scientific!!...if you have a hub that is promoting a particular product, then having amazon ads is good, because people will be searching for product, reviews etc,. another way round this is choosing the amazon item and adding the capsule!, then saving the url, then leave the url link in hub and then remove the amazon ad! and make sure u open in new window, and then say something like "click here to buy example
regarding a change in hub score without using konettra or amazon ads i don't think So! I'm almost sure!

If you want to place any amazon products, you do this in the editing mode as a "amazon capsule" and then choose whcih amazon prducts you want.... you cannot place the amazom widget directly to hub!

lexis, twitter, aswell as the other dozens and dozens of sites do help to promote hubs even more...Not just one is the best. I have had excellent results from stumbleupon at some hubs and others not much from stumbleupon just the same as digg etc.. So promote them all to as many traffic driving sites as you can !..

Yes, you need to sign-up to each company individually... To start promoting amazon and ebay products, Click on "help" top right..and the section where it says "Making Money on HubPages" read there for details and instructions to obtain your amazon ID...Once you have signed uo and have your code in your "affiliate settings" all you have to do is while making a hub, choose the amazon or ebay capsules which you type in what you want to seel and preview results and save and hopefully sell!!. I make a sale or two per month and it has varied between 1 dollar bonus to about 60 dollars! other hubbers do very well!as i always say, whats good for the good, may not be good for the gander!! To add Amazon html codes is impossible,,,You can only use the "hubpage amazon capsule" to place ads within your hub and if you experiment with the positing, you can place them almost anywhere you like!
I don´t know if hubpages changed the method to show the ads in the hubs, because I had a conversion between 10 and 15% and now with the same traffic I have a 2% the best day. I was visiting my websites from the computer of lot of friends and when I saw the code of every website I saw that in all of them appears the hubpages code at top and mine was above. Smells like hubpages wants the pie complete.

Hi balu!, Sorry to tell you but this is not possible..Adsense ads wil always appear on your hubs! and if you have not signed upto AdSense, then hubpages will recieve the revenue.You can control the other ads such as Kontera manually from your account settings or within each hub! and you can choose which amazon and ebay products you like manually within the making of your hubs via the affiliate gadgets!!If you have not signed upto hubpages and placed the code within your affiliate settings then hubpages will make revenue and not you!!

Well-written and no clutter. It's always refreshing to read a hubber's post that's all help and not much hyped promotion happening. To a beginner, you're formula appears simple and maybe effective: sign up at hubpages, write for a niche, ad adsense and some affiliate link, throw in some videos, and earn on the side. Nice.

To find out how much money your earning, simply click on the Google AdSense Link above, which will take you directly to your AdSense account, or I get there from my Google homepage, and click on my account at the top right of page!!.. I have placed an image above to give you an idea of what your looking for...
Double check you have placed your Google pub ID number at your hubpage accounts, and affiliate settings page.
