All The Frustrations Of Working From Home

My experiences

Now, I don't know about you all, but I have been trying to work from home for SEVERAL years! Yes, pathetic, I know, but I'm sure I'm not the only one.  How many times have you read all they hyped up material on a *get rich quick* site saying how someone makes $754980 a WEEK? Now, you know it sounds too good to be true, but for some reason you go and send them the $10, $40, or even more that they ask for. Then all of a sudden the site disappears.  It doesn't really disappear, but now all of sudden you have none of that unlimited phone support that they promised or the unlimited email responses from customer service.  They even go as far as saying that they provide the contact info for the actual CEO/Millionaire of the site.  I've been scammed by some *well known* companies also. I won't mention their names because I can't afford to be sued lol

Now some of the sites may eventually make you money, but my thing is: tell me EVERYTHING involved from the beginning, if your site is free, tell me that I will have to eventually pay for other services. Whether it be web hosting, completing sponsor offers (which is not free), ordering a lengthy ebook/video/some type of money making kit, etc.. I just don't like to be deceived.  And they get you by tellling you that everything is *money making for dummies* or so easy a 3rd grader can use and then they send you a 98 page video to learn the tricks of the trade.  They do that to get you frustrated and not interested and to confuse you so they won't have to pay you $708048904 a week!

I am extremely fed up with looking for work from home opportunities. I actually found one that I seriously think would work because it's more of a business opportunity and they compare it to owning franchises and don't say you'll become a millionaire within a week, but does say that you could make 6 figures within 12 MONTHS, not days.  Another thing I like about this company is that they have disclaimers saying that some people will make little or get this, even NO money at all, it all depends on your effort, dedication, and ability to follow directions.  How many get rich sites will tell you that? They promise that EVERYONE can make millions in 2 months.  The bad thing about the company that I like is that they have a $500 set up fee. But that again kind of shows me that they may be legit. The other sites only want $20 and if you keep closing out of the page you can get an even bigger discount. Who will give out top secret millionaire information for $7?? That's a bright red flag! I will provide links on my pages to work from home sites following this message.  I am not telling you to actually use them, but do as you may and thanks for reading my *rant.* lol

Nice hub I have tried many things as well and there is so much they don't tell you. Like here I am going along writing new hubs, keeping up every day with my blogs, I start seeing a little money building up and then I get an e-mail from adsense that says "We are disabling your account for suspicious activity." What did I do? No explanation and I loose all the money I had built up. I have no control over how anyone clicks on my ads, how can I know? Oh well now I am trying amazon. Thanks for letting me rant and keep trying, I will to.

I've heard that they do that A LOT. When people start making money, they mysteriously get an email saying they're disabled. And then I was upset to find out that some people say they've had their accounts for over 6 months and only average about $2 a day!! I asked (in the help forum) *what happend to the people that were making $798804 a day* lol It's crazy! I'm sure my account will get disabled too for some reason. And then they consider you viewing your own site as an invalid click. How can you make updates to your account without making an *impression*? It's weird lol
