Hello Friends,

I am posting this blog to give you a glimpse at what I learn week after week with my advancements in network marketing. Every week I will post a blog on my studies of the previous week and my thoughts on them. I would ask that after reading the post to please give me your thoughts and opinions and most important your advice. My goal is to share this experience (along with the help of others) who are either considering network marketing, have been involved in network marketing or is currently doing network marketing.

I know there are hundreds of different network marketing options out there today. First, I would find a company that interests you, one that you would be proud to be a part of and one that can truly change your life. Second, do your research. Look all over the internet and learn from others about that particular company. Send emails, make phone calls or try talking with friends. Get their thoughts on it as well. Third, make your decision and commit to it. More people fail at what they do because they just stop doing it.

A little about myself. I like many others, was looking for a new direction in life. I have been self employed since 1994. I have owned several different companies. They were all successful to a certain point. Each company becoming larger than the last. My last company failed. I can come up with several things to blame it on; the economy, lack of sales, poor leadership my people in certain roles...... the fact is that the company dissolved. I was never at a lower point in my professional career than the day i had to close those doors. I put my heart and soul into that company. I felt like I lost both.

I can honestly say that I cannot blame a single person, the poor results or the unfortunate economic crisis everyone is going through today. I also realize I cannot blame myself. I did the absolute best I could with the knowledge I had and the experience I gained over the years. Could I have been a better owner, partner, boss, manager, leader, teacher, friend......etc, YES. Would all that have saved my company. Honestly, I'm not sure. I can say I have committed myself to becoming better at all of the above. I can also say that i have found a wonderful place to do that. It's called Success University!

What brought me to Success University and network marketing in general was from a current customer of mine. I am by no means "friends" or "acquaintances" with these people. I meet them a few times a year, mainly just in passing saying "hello". Their names are Robert and Kim Kiyosaki. The couple behind the best selling "Rich Dad" series of books. Several years ago I bartered my services for that year for a collection of his books. I read them over the years and thoroughly enjoyed them. But never really did much with the knowledge or new tools they gave me, until now.

I wanted a change in my life. Don't get me wrong, I have a wonderful family and am very fortunate for the things I have. But I wanted to have freedom. Freedom to be financially stable. Freedom to have time to enjoy life with my family and friends. Freedom to help others. Freedom from the so called "rat race". That is why I chose network marketing. That is why I chose Success University
