BestITFriend Tip: Working too many hours on your computer ?

I bet you are computer addicted as I am :-)

What happens often while working online is that almost always -

when you want to get up of your computer and

eat something or go to the restrooms, you get another mail.

And then 90 minutes later you find yourself still in front of

your computer.

Then at some point you feel your eyes itch or your back ache or some other part in your body moan?

Not to mention your kids have more "Quality Time" with their computer screen...

All this leads to getting the RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) disease. At some point you may need surgery to heal your hands and sometimes even this cannot be done.

Here are few very nice programs (Some are FREE) that might assist...reducing stiffness and muscle ache associated with long hours at the keyboard.

I am using them (when I don't shut them off )

Of course you should always advise with your doctor before doing any exercise that might cause you any harm.

The programs have many features that you can use to tune to your break timing needs. Also they have "Game Mode" and similar so they do not interfere with your gaming activities.

  1. Workrave
  2. StretchBreak for Kids (FREE)
  3. Stretch Break Trial

HI Jack,

I'm like you and stay too long. One way to solve this is to use my kitchen time and take a recess every hour. This is self-discipline--to stop doing what hurts us.

Just a tip, It's better to include your how to's right in the article and not send people to your site. they can always visit your profile for more on you.

Cheers,

Judy
