Workout Music
Most people out there listen to music while working out. There are some folks out there that like it quiet but not me.
I feel like the right music puts me into a mood to workout. Now I prefer working out by doing things that I love to do. I'm not a big fan of running. I prefer to ride my bike or go hike in the mountain with a pack on my back. I love being out in the woods and seeing nature. And if I get a chance to get exercise at the same time then that is great. My type of exercise allows me to easily listen to music.
A lot of people go to the gym as well. That is a great place to listen to music. In fact some gyms actually have head phone jacks that you can just plug into to listen to music at certain stations.
Still there are others that prefer to do home fitness videos. I think that would be harder to listen to music but maybe because they are typically following along with someone you don't need music. A lot of those videos have music anyway.
So lets find out what people like to listen to. Answer some of these poll questions.

So I really like listening to upbeat music that can almost match my steps and rate I am exercising.
I love bands like Jimmy Eat World, Poor Old Lu, Weezer, Switchfoot, Coldplay. Sometimes I get in the mood to listen to a little Hip Hop or alternative like the Foo Fighters, man they are a good band.
When I am done exercising I like listening to something like Jack Johnson. Helps me calm down a little faster. Puts me in the mood to chill.
Music is so wonderful I love it so much. When I am riding on my bike on the mountain bike trails or hiking in the mountains there ain't nothing that brings all the inspiration home like a good song.

Yeah... Techno ... I'll add that into the poll. Good running music for sure. Good steady beats.
depends on my mood really...Keith Urban...Celine Dion...Eric Clapton...Gary Allen...and of course Pink Floyd...So sometimes my workout is a fast one and sometimes is a slow one...but it lasts for 40 minutes either way everyday...G-Ma :o) Hugs & Peace
