So where are the world's best beaches? Byron Bay might not come to mind as it's a bit of a secret - even in Australia.

Most people know Bondi Beach but Byron is where the Bondi locals go for a better beach experience.

Even the celebrities have caught on - Mick Jagger from the Rollign Stones has a place at Byron Bay.

So what makes Byron Bay so cool? well you have pristine beaches where friendly dolphines come and frolic in the waves, they share the water with Whales. Byron Bay happens to be on the Whale migration path to Antatica, they come and stay in Byrons warmer waters to breed.

It's not just the stunning beaches that will amaze you it's also the frendly locals and hip local cafe and resturant scene that is sure to impress.

Then theres the art scene

There are more artists in Byron Bay then anywhere else in Australia, they seem to like this beautiful part of the world. They are inspired by the beauity of the area and the bohemim lifstyle that Byron is famious for.

Byron Bay - Australia's Perfect Climate

Byron bay sites north of Sydney in the state of NSW. It has better climate of Sydney without the humidity of places further north and closer to the equator.

Byron bay is supported by a luch tropical hinterland that has some fantastic produce to enjoy with a nice white wine, you have delicious sweet fruit and a prime growing area that is drought proof - unlike most other places in the country.

Celebrity Spotting in Byron Bay

You are sure to spot a celebrity amunst the beautiful people that is also popular with travelers that come and stay for longer periods throughout the summer. Byron bay has a young energy about it that is unmatched Australia wide, land prices have certainly sky rocketed in the area, Mick Jagger paid Milions for his Watego mansion.

You have some amazing beaches that are all very close to each other, but it's not just the stunning white sand that is ppealing. You also have a range of beaches so there somethign for everyone.

Anyone for a Nude Romp?

Skinny dippers will certainly like Belonigl Beach that is popular with nudests, so be wared - don't take your kids.

Clarks Beach Byron Bay - Perfect for sunbaking and swimming.

Clarks beach is great for swimming as it faces North so you don't get the large swells that come prodominatly from the South. It's also has a great cafe that is perfect to sit on and watch the waves roll in.

Cosy Corner - Dophins Have a Magnetic Attraction to this Spot

When ever I've tripped up to Byron Bay I love going to this spot, it takes me back to the beaches in my hometown Nelson Bay - it's white sna, dolphins and sunny days. It also has a good wave that can be great to surf on. You also have the dramatic scape of the lighthouse that sites at the Cape Byron lookout above the beach.

Celebrity Spotting at Little Wategos

Due to the size of this beach and small community of houses it puts the ex in excllusive - you are sure to spot a celebrity in their natural hebitat. Mick Jagger own's one of the many jaw dropping mansion above.

Main Beach - In the heat of the action

"Main beach goes off" - as the locals would say! You havea great Aussie pub right smack bang on the beach - it always has live music - so what better way to pass the time sipping back a beer watching the waves roll in and the beautiful people strutting there stuff...

Tallow Beach - Unsurpassed Sweeping Beauty

No great beach area is complete without a long stretch of beach that you can stoll along for hours. Tallow is just that beach! Loose yourself in the mezmorizing scenery of the sparkeling clear waters of Byron Bay in this beach that goes for miles.

The Pass - A surfers Navana!

Thye Pass is will know in the surfers fraternity - some of the best waves on the country can start peeling off this barreling right hander. You will definatly score some quality green room action at The Pass.

As you can see Byron Bay has it all but shhhhh don't tell to many people!
