In order to honor bot in World of Warcraft, you'll need a bot script. There are some free ones available, but the best script for botting is probably going to be Glider

They have a freeversion that you can use to demo the bot to make sure it works for you and if you don't mind the fact that it will only bot for a few minutes at a time, you could probably just keep using that. If you want to make heavy use of botting though, I suggest a subscription. They have plenty of assistance in their forums on setting it up, troubleshooting and tips for getting the most bang for the buck out of Glider, so I think it's worth the money.

Once you have downloaded Glider (either the demo or the elite version), then all you need to do is log into WoW, execute the bot and configure the settings for the class you want to run. Load up the profile and let it know the coordinates for what you want it to do and then it is off and running and you can go back to studying or watching tv :)

Hint: If you decide to use this on a new WoW account, do not use the same credit card that you used when setting up your main account. Use a second credit card number or buy a game card and use that. If you ever get banned for botting, Blizzard can easily link your accounts through credit card numbers, so try and make sure that your accounts are not so easily attached to each other. As far as I can tell, they don't seem to take IP address into account.

How the WoW Honor System Works

Honor in World of Warcraft is a rewards system that is used in player vs player (PvP). By defeating other players in battle, you earn Honor points that can then be spent, just like gold!

You get honor for meeting goals in the battlegrounds, killing racial leaders, achieving World PvP objecties and for honorable kills. Problem is, most of the time it comes down to grinding honor, which is as much of a bore as grinding gold has turned out to be.

Some players choose to get around this grinding bore by using a Bot to grind honor hands-free. Set the bot running before you head off to classes or work and by the time you get home to actually play WoW, you'll have some honor stored up in your account. Assuming, of course, that Blizzard hasn't gone on a ban frenzy and banned your account. That is the major risk of botting in WoW, since it is totally against the terms of service, and it actually just happened in May with Blizzard banning thousands of accounts. So caveat emptor! I would recommend that if you decide to bot, do it with a secondary account and use it for leveling up your alternative characters fast.

Some players also choose to just buy their honor rather than going to the trouble of botting. Again, totally against Blizzard TOS, but if you feel it's worth the risk, then it's one option to consider.
