I have prepared and cooked this Chicken Pot Pie in restaurants all over the south and with out a doubt all most every one who eats it wand more and people over the years have begged me for the recipe. And now here on hub pages I have decided to give the recipe to the world.

You will need for your Worlds Best Chicken Pot Pie Recipe.

1. 2 Frozen Pillsbury Pie Crust Thawed

2. 1 Deep Dish Pie Pan

3. 2 Large Potatoes Peeled, Cubed And Boiled To Just Barely Done And Drained.

4. 2/3 Cup Of English Peas

5. 2 Cans Cream Of Chicken Soup

6. 2 Tablespoons Finely Diced Sweet Purple Onion

7. 2 Cups Cooked Cubed Chicken Breast

8. 1 Level Teaspoon Salt

9. Dash Of Black Pepper

10. 1 Level Teaspoon Sage

Take one of the thawed Pie Crust and Place it in the Pie Pan And push it in around the bottom and crimp the edges around the top of the pie shell. If there is any extra hanging over trim it away with a sharp knife and discard.With a fork place several holes around the bottom of the pie crust.

Now in a large bowl mix all your ingredients very well. Pour into your prepared pie crust and then take your other thawed pie crust and cover the top of your pie and crimp it around the top of the pie pan with a fork. If you have crust hanging over trim it away with a sharp knife. Preheat your oven to 375 degree. Take a fork and poke fork prong size holes around in the top of your pie crust. Take a pastry brush and brush melted margarine over the top of your pie. Set your pie pan in a larger pan and bake your pie 30-35 minutes until golden brown. And I guarantee you that you have just made the Worlds Best Chicken Pot Pie.

I have made this pie now for over 25 years and everyone who eats it says they have never tasted a better tasting chicken pot pie.
