Serendipity 3 is home to some of the decadently divine richly flavored sunday concoctions that you will enjoy.Stephen Bruce and two of his partners moved to New York City in 1954 and ended up in the restaurant business. Great delicious Cheesecake, strawberry ice cream sundae and frozen chocolate sundae ares the most popular item on the menu at Serendipity. Mochaccino is their own brew of rich chocolate, and aromatic espresso, with a topsy turvey whipped cream pear. You cant leave the place without tasting frozen hot chocolate with ice crystals melting in your mouth.

15 different kinds of chocolate sundaes can be found in serendipity. In New York City, people will buy anything. with this idea in mind, Srendipity 3 offered the gold standard in ice cream - called the Golden Opulence Sundae! It is offered at a bargain price of just $1000. Gold is the basis of this ice cream sundae. It is an amazing piece of art that you can order and eat ...oh...yeah. It requires you to place the order 2 days in advance.

The construction of this sundae takes considerebale effort as all ingrediennts are flown in from around the world and are of best quality. The dish starts with 18 carat gold spoon and a baccarat crystal goblet that is actually used in the Vatican. Then comes 23 carat edible gold and then some rarest chocolate in the world is added. 3 more scoops of vanilla ice cream and topped with high quality almonds coated with 18 carat gold. Decorations with sugar flower that itself takes 18 hours to construct, ends with passion fruit caviar which is salt free so it goes well with ice cream and then finally adding pure gold dusting for a glittering final touch!!! Well I am an hour from New York - so I'm going to go there, find a standard icecream store and walk around with 300 icecreams instead of one!!!
