Writing Addiction
58I don’t drink. I don’t smoke. Never touched drugs. Not a gambler. My addiction? Writing.
I’m a word nerd! Well, to other writers, sure I’m normal. But if you don’t write out of the desire rather than the need to do so, you might call me a nerd.
I may not be the best. Not yet a New York Times Best Seller, but I could write all day. Stop crinkling up your noses at me you numbers nerds. I hate math! I passed all my math classes and even did pretty well in the subject until 10th grade. That’s when I was forced to take Geometry, but wrote letters and poetry during the whole class period instead of ever learning how to use a protractor. I actually had to look online for the correct spelling of that word and just the images of it that come up when doing a Google search made me want to throw up.
Isn’t that often the case though? People tend to have strengths in some subjects and areas and weaknesses in others? Okay, if you have strength in all the damn subjects and areas, then you are a nerd!
Fellow writers, please share some insight. Please tell me this isn’t just the joy of a new found toy or talent! Do I just enjoy the ride while it lasts? Share your thoughts.

My strengths are my weaknesses.
I have had plenty of vices, I wouldn't call them addictions, but writing is an addiction for me for sure. I start twitching after awhile.
Thanks goldentoad. I guess I better keep writing. I don't want to start twitching.
I just might have found the cure! LOL thanks for sharing :D
