Writing and Making Money with Xomba
70Xomba is a revenue sharing site where you can write and make money. They do revenue sharing by using Google Adsense page impressions. You enter your Google Adsense and you make 50% of the page impressions for all views of your articles. You can also increase your earnings with referrals. This site is simple to use and can produce great results.
Read Through It
You should remember to read through your submission. Once it is online you can't take it back and you can't edit it. This means it is a good idea to read through what you have written and to double check for spelling and grammar issues.
BBCode Tags
Bold- [b] and [/b]. Place the text that you wish to bold in between the tags. It will then appear bold. For example: I want lots of [b] bold[/b] text. This would look like this when published: I want lots of bold text.
Italics- [i] and [/i]. Place the text that you wish to be in italics between the tags. For example: I like my text to be [i]slanted[/i] to the right. This will look like this: I like my text to be slanted to the right.
Underlined- [u] and [/u] Place the text that you wish to be underlined between the tags. For exaple: I want to [u] underline[/u] lots of [u] words [/u]. This would look like this: I want to underline lots of words.
You can also use the tags to change the fant color [color=red] and [/color], or [color=#FF2890] and [/color]. To change the font you can use [size=30] for large font [/size] or change the font type [font=courier] and [/font]. With these the information after the = can be changed for different results. If you entered blue then you would get blue text, or a different color number # followed by six numbers and or letter would give you a different color. Size and font type can also be changed in the manner.
Web addresses are automatic. If you enter www.falonandaiden.com (my web site) then it would automatically link to the site www.falonandaiden.com. However if you want to create text that links to a site you will need to place it like this: This is how you link text to [url=http://www.falonandaiden.com] my site [/url]. That would then look like this: This is how you link text to my site.
While it is a little complicated once you get using it, it will become much easier.
Publishing with Xomba
Xomba has two types of writings. The first is a xombyte. This is an article and should be at least 100 words, but the more you write the better. This should not be about another site, but rather information you have to offer other people. Your other option is a xomblurb. This can be a short piece that points to another site. You could do a small entry about your blog, another writing site, or really any site that you want. This blurb includes a link to the site in question.
Once you have decided what you are going to publish you will want to click on "post a xombyte" or "post a xomblurb" which will be in your left hand menu (after you sign up and log in).
Xombytes-Posting a xombyte is a little different then a xomblurb. You will come to a page. First you need to choose a title. Next you will choose from a huge list of categories in which your article should belong to one. Then you will add tags. As you tag your article it will also offer additional tags that others have used. You can click on these to add them to your list, or ignore them completely.
You will now enter your article in the "body" section. You should be careful and check your spelling and your grammar. URL's automatically become links and you can change the look of your article by including bold and other specialties using BBCode. When you are done and you have read through your article it is time to click "submit". Your article is now on Xomba!
Xomblubs-These small blurbs are used just for directing people to other sites. You will give your blurb a title, then summarize the site or tell others why you like it. Then you will choose a category, your tags, add the link to the site, and finish off by choosing what kind of site it is (website, article, blog, image, video). Finally you will click "submit".
The Money
With every site that makes money from content, it is true that "Content is King". You have to have a lot of articles in order to really make it, but you can make money from the articles that you write for Xomba. You will need to write a lot of quality articles and blurbs. Because you are making money from Google Adsense it does take a lot of good content before you find that you have made money. However, over time you can make a significant amount and if you continue writing you will find that you can grow thing into a nice income.
*It must be noted that it takes a lot of work and that it isn't enough just writing a few articles. The more content you have the more money making potential that you have. However, it takes work!
I Found Xomba
I have done a ton of research looking for some of the best locations to write and make money online. I found Xomba on a list of revenue sharing sites. I have since then written a few pieces and lately started working with them a lot.
Popularity
Xomba has a growing amount of popularity. A huge number of people have been adding the to their revenue sharing lists. This is getting more writers working at Xomba. The more that work there, the better it is for everyone involved. Xomba is growing and that is a good thing.
However, there are some sites that generate a lot of traffic naturally. While Xomba has some, it isn't one of the top sites for generating lots of traffic. This means that you either have to work to promote your writing or you have to have a ton of stuff up before you are seeing a lot of page impressions. This doesn't mean it isn't worth working for, in fact I have it in one of the top five sites to work for (as of now), but it does mean it takes a little extra work to get your money's worth out of it.
All in All
Xomba is an easy and fun site. It doesn't have as much traffic (naturally) as it could, but it is still worth the effort to make money there. With their revenue sharing methods (Google Adsense page impression sharing), you don't have to worry about not getting paid. The only thing you have to loose is the time that you spend there and if you are willing to put a lot of work into it you can grow a significant income there. Some claim to have a very nice income each month there.

Thanks for the information great hub .
great info, have you tried this at all?
Rudra-From the sites that I get paid from directly, I have made the most money with Helium, then Associated Content, and finally eHow. However, I haven't been with eHow very long and they are different in how they pay and the articles that are published there. From revenue sharing with Google Adsense I have made the most money with HowToDoThings.com, Hubpages, and then Xomba. However HowToDoThings.com is a pain to write for and I have only been on Xomba for a short while. So, it is really hard to say which one is "most profitable" because of the different times, different amounts of work, and such. I also believe that you should use several sites at one time so you don't loose out big should that site go down!
Lady Luck-I have been a member of Xomba for a couple of months and the last few weeks I have been working there quite regularly. I am pleased with how it is going thus far, but won't know how much I like it for another several months.
Joined Zomba and will see how this one goes. I havent heard of the other ones you mentioned, maybe should look into it. Thanks......
interesting
gr8..its

I'm still waiting to be activated
Does Xomba work for you?
Forlan,
I have made quite a bit of money with Xomba. It won't replace a job, but you can make some extra money.
