Wu-Yi / Wu-Long / oolong tea

Wu-Yi tea gets its name from the wu-yi province in China where it is widely produced. Wu-Yi in China is geographically very similar to Darjeeling in India and they both are famous for tea gardens producing some of the finest tea. Tea produced in the Wu-Yi province is also called Wu-Yi Tea or Oolong Tea.

So what is special about Wu-Yi Tea? Is it natural and herbal? Is it a dieter's tea that helps weight loss to get slim and have good health? Or is it a scam?

Millions of people around the globe are looking for information on Wu-Yi Tea. Sites and blogs are flooded with all kinds of information and even scams. The Ad on the right may be on Wu-Yi Tea.

After several days of study and research, I decided to publish this article.

According to EasyWeightLossTea.com - "Wu-Yi System is the newest healthy alternative for fast weight loss. Wu-Yi Tea is not only all-natural, it's also the ancient Chinese weight loss "secret" and that's one of the reasons why the people of Asia stay so slim!"

So, let us check out the truth about Wu-Yi Tea:

Benefits of Oolong Tea

1. The Chinese have been using green oolong tea as medicine for thousands of years. Scientific studies show that oolong tea helps in oxidation of fat and thus making the body slim and has no side effects. This way it also helps to control obesity.

2. Oolong tea contains a large quantity of polyphenol that promotes beauty and good health.

3. It is very effective in control of aging, dark spots and wrinkles and thus taking care of skin.

4. Oolong tea is also highly effective in improving both spleen energy-weak and kidney energy-weak symptoms as diagnosed in Chinese herbalism.

5. Oolong tea is effective in preventing tooth decay and atopic dermatitis.

6. It is 100% natural and herbal

The Truth About Wu-Yi Tea

The Bottom line

It has been learnt that Oprah and even Rachel Ray endorsed Wu-Yi tea and that hey are very much impressed with this herbal tea. However, I did not find any mention of Wu-Yi tea on either of the sites. Rachel Ray's site has no mention of tea for weight loss at all.

Please keep in mind that Oolong tea, black and green tea have some health benefits, but none of them have any "magic formulas." There are sites that are selling tea in the name of Wu-Yi Tea, Oolong Tea and even Black and Green Tea and charging too high than the actual cost. Please beware of scams.

  • Castoreum makes raspberry candies taste betterThe Victoria Advocate2 days ago

Q: I am writing this letter since I am too old to learn how to do a computer. I love raspberry candy and have eaten it for many years as a treat. Since reading your articles, I look at the label more. The candy I bought says it has castoreum in it. What is castoreum? I know what the others ingredients are.
