XBox 360 Update

Microsoft have just made the Xbox 360 Fall Dashboard update available for download on your Xbox 360.

This update has been keenly anticipated for some time as it adds lots of new features to both Xbox Live and the Xbox 360 Dashboard.

Some of the new features include:

• The ability to play DivX and Xvid movies on your Xbox 360.
• The ability to download classic Xbox titles and play them on your Xbox 360.
• New parental controls such as family timers to control the number of hours that the console may be played on both daily and weekly.

• Enhanced Live profiles and the ability to view the friends list of your friends to improve social networking.
• Improved user interface on Xbox Live downloads and the media interface to make browsing everything much easier.
• IPTV support, provided that your service provider has enabled it.
• Access to the Insider Xbox newsletter directly from the home blade.
