Yahoo Answers and Google Trends for SEO
62Are you one of those online writers who experience writer's block every once in a while. It's really frustrating when it happens, especially if you have to submit an article everyday. When this happens to me, there are only two sites I always go to. First is Yahoo Answers, and next is Google Trends.
Yahoo Answers is the best website to get ideas on what the surfers are looking for. Most of the questions here are from users who have a hard time looking for answers they want online. Some of the users though ask such questions because they think they wanted to know more profound answers. Once I found a good topic, I can easily write an article from it since ideas most of the times are already found in the answers of other Yahoo Answer users. All I have to do is do more research about it to make it more profound.
Google Trends on the other hand is a useful tool to find out which set of keywords will generate more traffic. The data here are from Google.com search traffic, thus Google Trends is for SEO. It is useful to me since I am more inspired to write about topics that will be beneficial to most online surfers. I actually do this by using a set of keywords which I already am familiar how much amount of visitors it gets. Then compare this to keywords that I am still not sure how much users are really using it. This method helps me visualize the amount of traffic a particular keyword will get compared to what I already am getting from a keyword. Also, once I see the comparison chart, I look up on Google who are my competitors on such keywords. To see if I could improve what already has been written by other writers.
That's it. I hope other SEO writers like me found these sites useful as well.
