Yahoo status hype
57This invisible scanner idea is not new and I have to say that the yahoo status was in the beggining and that's why the invisible scanner hype evolved as it is today and how is going to evolve tommorow.
People feel the need to know, they need informations, they need the idea of control (altough it's not true or accurate), but they need it in order to win the game with their human nature and play the game very good. If you say to me that you're not curios and you never was then you're not just lying to me but you're lying to yourself more than you can really imagine. People need to find answers and get them in order to satisfy curiosity and the chaos that they're living in. This is us and that's why trends like yahoo status are created, by people and are canalized by people or deleted by people. People 2.0 need informations and the idea of controling their friends or to know exactly where/how/why are they doing altough many of them just don't care about them, but they care to have that information. Information is the way of human nature and how things works and social web is the answer to informations and a way of loosing more time with your life doing nothing and living a dream or a nightmare.
Yahoo status may make you live a nightmare than may be seem realistic but in place you're just wasting time and doing nothing, time you can use making something you really like and that helps you with your life and so on.
Where are the yahoo status/invisible scanner users coming from (I mean contry and origin):
- Romania has most of the traffic. Altough Romania has 5 million yahoo messenger users you have to realize that most of them are teens and are more curios than any other and they don't have what to do either. So they are perfect not to be exploited by this invisible scanner/yahoo status idea, they're perfect in order to create/delete such type of a trend and make it work on the 2.0 world.
- the rest does not matter because it gets only 30% of the total traffic and the people are from different country and majority are teens. I guess this invisible scanner idea will go globaly in a few years.
