Yard Art Adds Spice To Your Yard

Yard Art is any decoration that you add to your yard. Decorating your yard area is an enjoyable wya to add some of your character to your outdoor living area. Yard art can be high quality like a marble statue or low end like the painted siloets that I call bent-over butts.

Some of my favorite yard art are recycled objects. These can eitehr be straight up unmodified items like old whellbarrows to hand crafted sculptures.

There are many yard art items that are easy to add to your yard. Some yard art surves a dual purpose of supporting the local bird population. These items nclude bird houses, baths and feeders. Garden statues are also easy to add items and they come in styles rangigng from religious themes to make believe.

Don't be afraid to experiment with different yard art items to find the ones that work weel for both you and your yard. You can even rotate seasonal yard art to match the local holidays and celebrations.

One Of My Favorite Yard Art Items

I didn't come up with this on my own, I "discovered" it in one of my neighbor's yard. The item is colored bowling balls! These add a lot of color and can be hidden like treasured Easter Eggs through out the yard.Although my neighbor didn't add flowers or other plants in the finger holes, this should be an easy addition.

Using bowling balls as yard art is a great way to recycle another unwanted item into something useful.

I don't like most of them, some are very nice but just too expensive. I like topiarys most of all.

Thanks Lgali!

CC -I think topiarys are too much work! I just can seem to get them to look right :-) Disneyland has some nice ones if you haven't been there lately.
