Candidiasis is an infection caused by the Candida yeasts. It can infect the following parts of your body:

* Mouth * Vagina * Skin * Stomach * Urinary tract

The signs and symptoms of yeast infection are the following:

* Creamy, white patches in the mouth or throat * Painful cracks at the corners of the mouth * Skin rashes, patches and blisters commonly found in the groin, between the fingers and toes, and under the breasts * Vaginal itching and irritation with a curd-like discharge

Some of the more common symptoms of a yeast infection also include:

* Sinus problems * Digestive disorders * Thrush * Athlete's foot * Cracking sound in neck * Stiffness in joints and muscles * Failing eyesight * Toenail fungus

Any one of these symptoms is most likely related to a fungal infection. It's the location of the yeast infection that produces different symptoms and has been commonly misdiagnosed by the medical community as different diseases.
