Yellow Sapphire - Gemstone of Planet Jupiter

The lord is the Zodiac Sagittarius and Pisces is Jupiter and stone is yellow sapphire and sub stone golden topaz. Jupiter is a planet of wisdom and compassion and also is referred to as 'Guru' and 'Brihaspathi'.Citrine is a weaker substitute for planet jupiter and should be worn of minimum five carets. Yellow Zircon can also be used. Yellow Sapphires are considered bearers of good fortune and success. This gemstone is also referred to as 'Pukhraj' or 'Pokhraj' or 'Pokharaj'. Procedure of Wearing Yellow Sapphire Ring : This stone should be a minimum of 3 ½ carets in shape and set in silver, gold and copper. This should be worn on a Thursday after purifying it with unboiled milk and worn on the index finger of the right hand at the time of sunrise after touching the stone on a plantain and after praying to favorite god and chanting guru mantra. The Guru Mantra or Mantra of Jupiter is

"OM GURU DEVAYA VIDHMAHE, PARABRAHMANE DHEEMAHEE, THANNO GURU PRACHODAYAT" and "OM HRAAM HREEM HROUM SAHA BRUHASPATHAYE NAMAHA"
