Yes, this should be interesting.
I'm keeping a close eye on that. Not much in the way of movement yet, but let's give the great Hub system time to get that Hub up in the Google Rankings and we'll see. Again, I'd be thrilled if it brought in $1,000, $10,000 or more, as the NCI is an extremely worthy charity!
You could have made that huge donation if you did this test a few years before... once upon a time it did have a high payout .. don't know about $80, but I have heard ppl getting around $3/click. (Ppl who work with adsense know at this point of time $3/click is a jackpot!). But now all the search engine treats that keyword 'mesothelioma' as spam, I am sure your contribution to NCI won't make it to even $10!
The research I did was on current sites and the consensus was that this is one of the hottest keywords. However, keywords and payouts change on a minute by minute basis. We'll see in a year!

I still say Worthoogle would pwn...
When I started working at Gap, they'd told us that we could donate money from our paychecks to any charity organization we pleased, and Gap Inc. would match our donation. You have no idea how tempting it is for me to put my entire paycheck into the Susan B. Anthony Breast Cancer Research Foundation, just to see if Gap will stick to it's word.
I doubt they will.
So I plop $5, $10, even $20 dollar bills in the little buckets every time I see one instead.
If you do make an oodle of dough off this, and you do donate it all to the NCI, I will drive over to your house and give you a ginormous hug. Cancer research needs all the funding it can get, and donations are a wonderful gift to the scientific research community.
