Anton La Vay is the creator of the modern day Church Of Satan. Anton has manipulated lots and lots of people into joining the Church Of Satan. People all around the world are participating in this religion. Teenagers everywhere are wearing the clothes that Satanists wear, listening to this Satanic music by artists who are Satanists, even practicing the magic of Satanism themselves. This religion has spread everywhere. Although there aren't a lot of people who would admit that they use Satanism as their religion, there are thousands of people who follow this religion. It didn't just start with Anton La Vay. Satanism has been around for a very long time. All across the world, similar religions and private groups are available, using the same rituals and magical practices as the Church Of Satan.

• Deception To The People-They say that they don't worship the Devil, but if you were to take a look into the Satanic Bible, it clearly states how you can sell your soul to Satan. If they do not worship Satan, then why are all the books within the Satanic Bible named after the names of the Devil(Leviathan, Belial, Lucifer). It isn't hard to realize that the things that are said by Satanists are complete lies. The Devil is the father of lies, so if a Satanist worships Satan, then they could be considered the children of lies.
• Hitting The Weak Point-Who doesn't want sex or lustful things to be the right thing to act upon?Who doesn't want to do whatever the hell he/she wants?Anton La Vay played on that by saying that religions are based on fear. This comment by La Vay is very true. Religions(such as Christianity)are based on fear. He says he feels that a person should be free to act out on what they want to do. If they are sinning, do it to there hearts content. He uses natural human desires and primal needs to lure people into worshipping Satan.
• Knowledge into Lies-La Vay is a very smart man. He uses this knowledge to lead people to believe that Satanism is a good religion. Things that are said by Anton La Vay could lead niave people into believing that Satanism is a religion, free of war and sin, free of wrongs. He states that the word Devil comes from the Indian word "Devi" which means God. This is suppose to mean that Satanists view Satan as a God(their God).
• The Seven Deadly Sins- The seven deadly sins are actually viewed by Satanists as an act of instant gratification. Getting physical and mental satisfaction at the time being. The seven deadly sins(Envy,Greed,Gluttony,Anger,Sloth,Lust,and Pride)which are avoided at all costs by Christians, are acted on as part of the Satanic religion.
• Satanism and Homosexuality-Satanism has begin to gain more members because of their open arms welcoming of homosexuality. It's apart of the religion. Have you ever noticed how certain rock bands wear blood colored attire and/or paint with tight clothing, displaying homosexuality?They are even willing to perform gay marriages.

What is Baphomet? Baphomet is one of the most misunderstood symbols of all time. No one knows where the name Baphomet comes from. Some say that it is a distorted pronouncing of the name Muhammad. It is the Goat of Mendes whom templars wear accused of worshipping as a Goat headed Deity, having both male and female principles. The Sabbatic Goat is also known as the Great God Pan, Abraxas, Thanateros, or the Horned God. Anton La Vay uses this symbol as one of the traditional symbols of the Church Of Satan.

• History Links With Baphomet-Baphomet has linked back in history with other, private groups who used this symbol along with similar rituals practiced by Satanists today. No one knows the true origin of Baphomet.
• Definition of Baphomet-Baphomet means "Absorption of Knowledge".

They act out on things that they believe to be mans natural state of mind. Things such as Lust, Greed, Envy, Sloth, Anger, Gluttony, that would be considered sins by Christians, Satanists view this as a way to gain instant physical and mental gratification.  Satanists will try to use knowledge of words to back up their beliefs and draw members in. Satan means "accuser", "opposition",or "adversary". The word devil comes from the indian word "Devi", which means "God".   There are four crown princes of Hell: Satan Lucifer Belial Leviathan  Although they claim not to believe in sacrifice, the Book Of Satan clearly gives detailed descriptions of sacrifices. Satanism is based on Satan. 

Anton La Vay has reached a wide crowd of people, including musicians. These musicians are very popular and have a big influence on their listeners, drawing in even more members into the Satanic age. Groups such as the Satans Soldiers Syndicates and Cradle Of Filth have reached millions of people. These people have been brought into this lie of a religion.
