"There's more than one way to skin a cat," is one of my favorite saying. A true creed for the out-of-the-box thinker.

Six years working the administrative, purchasing, moves, adds, and changes side of telecommunications for over 47 offices in four states, another ten years selling telecommunications services, and what seems as a life dedicated to youth development and non-profits, it dawned on me how to turn a home-based opportunity into a training program that can provide real, relevant, employable, and entreprenuerial skills.

My venture, TaylorAdams Communications has been an affiliate of Cognigen Networks (now Commission Rivers) since around 2002. What makes TaylorAdams Communications offerings so leverageable are: 1) organizations receive a free website to resell the complete line of communications, security, and computer products, 2) resellers receive a free online back office, 3) resellers receive full free training in telecommunications services for residential, small and medium size businesses that emcompasses product knowledge, marketing, internet use, and business development, and 4) organizations receive access to over 50 top providers of residential and small business telcom services worldwide.

Telecommunications, a booming business to say the least, inhabits much of the latest technology that people of all ages encounter on a daily basis. Services for businesses is more specialized, so training in this area does provide a marketable skill. Then, to enhance the knowledge with sales training and a vehicle to earn revenue, creates valuable win-win programming that can be used for community programming.

Imagine that, telecommunication websites that can be used as a training tool for youth, job training, and entrepreneurial programs. This is an awesome opportunity to connect youth and adults directly to the science, product, processes and sales of the technology they interact with on a daily basis; telephone, celluar service, satellite and cable services, computers, internet access, web development, and VioP. The training creates the opportunity to develop and enhance cognitive and critical thinking skills, entrepreurial and marketing skills as well as product and processes knowledge.

There is extensive training for business services including, T1 lines, DS3, OC3 - OC192. Training is provided on-line through downloadable manuals, audio and video libraries, discussion boards, audio and video conferencing and powerpoint presentations. There are also opportunities to attend offline training sessions in various cities.
