Why You Don't Need A New Goal For 2008

I just dropped by Andrew Hansen's blog to read his spiel on Goals and all that.

I enjoyed reading what he had to say and it made perfect sense. The truth is many of us fell into the trap of setting one goal after the next thinking that the reason the one before failed is because it was not good enough!

Not true! You don't need another goal. You don't need a hole in the head either, but you do get the point. Your failure to achieve a goal probably has nothing to do with whether it was not good enough. You probably did not achieve it because you did not set a plan (workable process) to carry it out.

Now take a live example. I just wrote at Andrew's blog that I will be writing 1 article a day for the next 6 months, and submitting it to 5 PR4-6 Directories. That will be my minimum. Now that sounds good and all that, but If I don't

set a workable process to take me through it ain't going to happen!

The next question for me is this. When will I do this article taking into account research etc.? Morning? During lunch break? after work, late at night when everyone else is sleeping? Who will hold me accountable for doing this? Are you available (:-) ?

I have to work it out.! Then I have to find 5 good sites to submit my articles to. Got those already! But if you don't maybe you should check out

ArticleTrader.com. They have a bunch of the best sites for submitting your articles, all in one place that is.

Ok. I take approximately 40 minutes to write an article. I will need to cut that

down to 30 minutes if I can. Trust me on this. If you write an article every day for 6 months, after the first 30 days you will find a way to cut the working time

down to under 30 minutes, without spending more money on tools.

So anyway, the point I am making is this. Find a way to work through your goals for 2008. Heaven forbid you don't need to add a dozen more goals! Just get working on the ones you did not even start in 2007. Imagine how much better off you would be right now, if you did?

If you are looking to learn how to turn articles into money, then you need to check out Jim Edwards! He is an expert in this area. Guy says he has over 16 websites pulling in over US$5,000 a month each. Imagine That!

All the best,
