www.Apture.com is a multimedia service that lets you integrate videos, photos, music, maps and information automatically into your blogs via links in your text. (photo below of a link to video) You just download the software -- it's free -- and it works with all the major blogware: MoveableType, Blogger, WP, TypePad, Drupal, etc.

They have made arrangements with a number of media providers (photo below) and when you click a linked item, a new mini-window pops up and lets you select any media that's available. For videos, you can even choose what piece of the video you want your user to see. By example, let's say they offer a video that's 4 mintues in length, but the part that's pertinent to your post is at the 3 minute mark. You enter the time and when a user clicks, their video starts at the 3 minute mark and runs only for a minute!

No saving media, no uploading media, no editing and so forth - it's all at your fingertips and can be embedded with a click. A great way to keep users on your site and extend the average length of their stay!
