We have all received our unique programming since we were born. All that we think and do is the result of what we have been taught. Everything that we have seen and heard has preconditioned us to react in a certain way and think in a certain way. Sometimes just looking at someone triggers off some preconditioned thinking: Look at him; why is she walking like that; he shouldn't be wearing that; they are from the other side of town. You know your own thinking patterns. Do you catch yourself thinking negative thoughts just by looking at someone. If not, you will now. Now that you have been prompted, the next time you have a negative thought at the sight of someone you will catch yourself.
So what do you do when you catch a negative thought? Drop it and replace it with a positive one: Look at him, he must a smart man; She must be a very confident person; He is brave to wear clothes like that; Those from the other side of town have some special talents. Whatever it is you think about, whoever it is your have the thought about, no matter what it is you think, you can turn it around to a positive thought. Start now by thinking of someone you do not like and don't do anything else until you have thought of something positive and good about that person. Now you might come up with a thousand reasons why such a thought can't be true, but guaranteed you will feel better when you think a good thought about that person. Have fun turning your negatives to positives.

Hi Londongirl, you are absolutely right! I have heard it said that what other people think is none of our business. Thanks for stopping by.

I think not caring what other people think of you is a good start. Care about what you think of yourself.
