Or how to build keyword specific webpages fast and easy

A little over a month ago, we found ourselves purchasing and trying out a new piece of software that sounded promising - especially if you like video but either lack the means to create it yourself or just don't want to get involved in the process.

Frankly, the sales page to "sell us" was a disaster, but lucky for the creator their graphics representing the product took us over the top and had us logging into Paypal to purchase.

Typically when you get these sorts of desktop programs you do so with more than a grain of salt. They always sound easy, but too often you discover they aren't. The YouTube Video Sites in a Box, however, was one of those exceptions to the rule.

For novice website (or just webpages) builder to veteran webmasters, you're going to be amazed at how very easy it is to pull content straight from YouTube and add it to your existing site. Conversely, if you've been wondering what to create a website around you could actually build an entire website by using this simple desktop software tool.

Your choice of keywords (as you "fill in the blanks" during the process) determines what the page(s) displays. Be specific is our hint for best results. In addition, you also upload the results straight to your domain using the software itself so you will need your ftp information (if you don't have your own domain and hosting, this software is not for you).

But the process is just as stated, quick and painless. After choosing the keywords you'd like your videos to be about (here in the example below we've chosen "Hubpages" but you can designate up to eight (8) keywords as you create the page(s)), giving your video page a name, and filling in just another screen or two, you are good to go. Again, the software will upload it for you to your designated folder on your domain.

NOTE: Make the folder in your domain first, and chmod it to 755 before beginning this 5 step process, if you don't you'll drive yourself crazy.

While the example below is the by-product directly from the software, you also have the ability to edit the templates to customize your new video pages to the look and feel of your own website.

We give this product a big THUMBS UP for it's ease of use, product creation, and the fact that yes, it does do exactly what the creator said it would.

Great review! I have this product, too, but haven't had time to try it out yet. It's on my 'to do' list. :) Needless to say, I'm very happy to hear that it's simple.

Hey Denise! Yeah, I was very pleasantly surprised. It's a piece of cake. I know you can just embed code, but having fully created keyword specific pages of nothing but whatever strikes your fancy is very cool :)

Just read your duck duck article and then came on to read more. This sounds like a product I could use for my website if I ever get it done.

I've been using this product on my website as a means to help students learn better English. Each lesson plan has it's own 'feature video' directly linked to YouTube, as well as it's very own 'TV channel' based on the topic of the lesson. So if the lesson topic is about 'Flying History' - the 'TV Channel' will be a selection of videos pulled straight from YouTube, all about Flying history.

All I can say is - IT WORKS and needs to be receiving some of the web's best awards!! A great product for anyone who wants to put videos on their websiite!

I just set up this website. Your script doesn't work. Do something about it.

Does anybody know how to fix the upload date for the videos? In case, it show November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am for all vĂdeos and comments. I've checked onlin and saw other instalations with the same problem. Could anyone tell what to change in the code, so the dates will show correctly?

It's a great script though.

Thanks,

Leno
