Hello to all I just have a little information for all you CDL Drives. Knowing that you license is your lively hood here is a huge WARNING !!!!!! Your out drive in you own car!!!!you look behind you and their they are the red and blue light !!!!At that moment your heart drops in to you stomach!!!!!! You are getting pulled over , that is the last thing you need!!! You receive a ticket for no turn single but it a mover. Ok  not to bad you just have to court plea your ticket down to a non mover  and request for supervision RIGHT and It will be ok !!!!!! Court date come up you plea down to a non mover the state attorney and you negotiated it a  seatbelt violation and supervision !!!!!you walk out of feeling pretty good !!!!!!well guess what that was not such a good move!!!! I will tell you why first of all, when you have a seatbelt violation there are quite a few companies that have a policy that they do not allow them!!!!! SAFETY ISSUES!!!!! That is per company policy and they all differ!!!!

One last bit of advises if you hold a CLD don’t walk into court with out a attorney!!!!! Once the violation is  On the DMV record it is there for at least   three year!!!!!convicted or supervision it show on your record either way!!!!! So  be wise and bring some that knows what they are doing with you !!!!! 

When we was dealing with this issue we was unaware of  the  law change and thought is was ok to take the supervision, thinking  it fell of the record after the 90 days NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!  Bad move on our part but, defiantly  a learning experiences that is for sure!!!! Received the ticket in his personal car!!!! When I pull the DMV a year later due to layoff and needing to find a new job I nearly lost my head!!!!!

The tickets that  were supposed to be supervision  were coded SC !!!!!!! reading a little more into  this coded stands for supervisors conviction makes no since RIGHT!!!!!! Wait so I read a little more the code stand for the violation OCCURRED IN A COMMERICAL MOTOR VECHICAL !!!!!!!! I was pissed off, so call the Secretary of State  to find out way it was coded like this. He was not in his work truck !!!! I was told when the laws changed in 2005 they never changed the form the DMV were printed on with the up dated codes!!!! Because, they had a to many and they need to use the old ones first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CRAZY!!!!!

Then the man went on to say that if there is a problem just have the employer call the CDL help line!!!!!! This is about the craziest thing I have ever heard !!!!!!!!!  We have a ton of people looking for jobs a employer will look at you  and say next!!!!! I am sure the last people the want to try and call it the Secretary of State  I did not even want too !!!!!!!!    So I just want to share that info the word Supervision no long means the same thing when comes to a CDL
