Your Favorite Cure For Common Cold That Works For You
63How to beat the common cold
Do you want to know how to cure the common cold?
It's an answer so simple, you're going to hate it, but I swear it works.
Drink water.
What?! I can hear the skeptics out there screaming. Water?! It can't be that simple. We need drugs. We need rest. We need fluids- oh wait, he just said that.
Darn tooting I just said that. Now sit back and let me tell you why. We all know the human body is made out of 70% water. Right? (okay, that may not be an exact percentage, but it's around there)
But did you also know that the majority of Americans spend most of their lives dehydrated? Sure, they drink tons of soda, coffee and tea, but all of those are diuretics, and push moisture out of your system. The majority of people lead lives of quiet dehydration-
This can lead to pain in your joints (arthritis), pains in your head (migraines) and pains in your butt (swollen prostrate).
But a cold? See, it's passed usually through contact with another person, let's say on your hand, or airborne. Now you touch your nose, or breath it in, and the nasty cold settles on your dehydrated nasal passages. BAM! You've got it.
If you drank more water, your sinus cavity would be nice and slimy, with no where for that nasty cold bug to land.
Plus, you can use that same water to wash your grimy paws to stop the spead of the cold bug.
Once you've got the bug in your system, drink one gallon of water, followed by some warm tea. You'll feel loads better the next day, and flush the toxins from your system. You might float some, and make a ton more trips to the bathroom, but trust me, the next time you feel like you're catching a cold, start sipping water.
Remember the old saying, A gallon a day keeps the doctor at bay.

I agree, I agree! Plus, drinking water keeps skin glowing, insides all washed and clean, and teeth sparkling.
Water's my favorite food!
And thanks for the great photo of a wonderful-looking family!
