Why spend if you don't have to!!

Why spend any additional money if you do not have to?

I ask many people this question when it comes to today's economy. Many of us see or hear a story everyday of someone losing their job and of course comes the loss of their benefits with the layoff deal. The situation is so unfortunate but it is reality and many of us just continue to spend the money that we do not have.

There are many of us who do not go to the doctor  and doctor every month, let alone every year and  spend hundreds on medical and dental coverage. I always believed in being covered for the unexpected but in today's economy it is hard. Whether you have insurance or not why not be able to save on your dental and medical cost when you actually do decide to go to the dentist or doctor.

So for example, a family of four pays $194 per month on dental coverage but only decides to go to the dentist once a year. They are spending $2328 a year just to go get their teeth cleaned. Can you imagine what kind of money they could be saving if they went with a discount dental company...thousands. Here is a perfect example of spending wisely in this economy...this same family spending $2328 per year on dental goes with a discount company, instantly they save over $2000 because it only cost them less than $260 for the dental plan for the household for one year. Secondly, the family can get their teeth cleaned twice a year for under less than $400 and still have savings to do whatever they like with or to save for any other dental procedure.

I would rather spend smarter, wouldn't you? Always weigh your options and maximize your saving efforts.
