This first version of this Hub Page posting was an introduction and a statement of purpose. We have been at this for a few months now and are just beginning to grasp the scope of Hub Pagers. There is a lot of territory our here and we anticipate finding a bit of it for our material.

Over the last few years, I have added a couple of active interest into my life. One is golf. There is no reason to continue with that subject as there are many and varied posts, blogs and web sites dedicated to that topic. And since I am not very good at golf, there is probably little I could add other than the trials of trying to learn the game and play better. But doesn't every golfer have his own stories?

The other is cooking and, like golf, there are many sites the focus on that topic as well. But this is an area where it is not just about my experiences, it is about sharing. That is what we hope will happen here.

The objective is to reach out to others that are beginning to shift from cooking as something that needs to be done most every day (with a few exceptions as I do know people who eat out every meal) to something that is interesting and fun as well as something to be shared with others. We (my wife and I) want to combine quality products, the skills to properly use them, and recipes such that meals are something to look forward to. In addition, the preparation can become entertainment and a social event.

So look for subsequent Hub Page posts were we will discuss ways to stock a ktichen with quality cookware, bakeware and other items to make cooking easy. In addition, we will post interesting recipes, suggest ways to make things easier and more interesting, and present some new tools and gadgets to add fun to the process.

Along the way, it is our hope that you will respond with ideas, suggestions and tricks of the trade of your own.
