Generate Leads for Your Greeting Card Business

Are you running out of ideas to generate leads for your greeting card business? Are you having to BUY leads just to stay afloat? Isn't it frustrating to have great product that nobody knows about? If you have said to yourself, "There has got to be a better way!" you can relax -- you're right.

If you have a home business selling Greeting Cards, you already have a powerful tool to aid you in step 2 of your marketing process which is customer retention. Your card system probably allows you to send customized greeting cards to your prospects as well as your downline either one at a time, or perhaps as an offline drip system campaign.

Attraction Marketing To Generate Leads

But, as always, you have to have customers to send those cards to! The business model called Attraction Marketing is your ticket to not only generating leads, but getting them to contact you. Even if you are very adept at making one-on-one sales, or even better, contacting corporations who can use Greeting Cards to promote their business, it still does not give you the kind of numbers you need to make your business as successful as you may hope.

Since you can conduct your Attraction Marketing campaign largely on the internet, it is not only effective but extremely inexpensive! As your business grows, you may invest in advertising campaigns that do cost, but by then, you will have the budget to fund those ads.

For now, the internet provides a way to reach not just millions of people, but the very people who are already searching for a business opportunity. They may be looking for your Greeting Card company specifically, or simply looking for any good resource from which to buy greeting cards.

By building a web of content which brings your targeted market to you, your sales conversion rates will go way up.

Renegade University and Internet Marketing Training

Renegade University provides free network marketing training for experts or totally computer-challenged beginners. It is recommended, but not mandatory, that you read Ann Sieg's The Renegade Network Marketer since it is the university course book.

Even if you elect not to purchase the book, the free training at Renegade University can help you build your Greeting Card business in several ways:

  • By teaching you what Attraction Marketing is all about and how to use it effectively.
  • By providing click-by-click visual tutorials to get your Greeting Card Business content up and running as quickly as possible to begin generating those leads.
  • Teaching you how to market your Greeting Card business without violating any rules about web promotions. Most mlms do not allow distributors to discuss products or business opportunity on their personal sites. This works out to be to your benefit and Renegade University will teach you why.
  • Providing some basic computer how-to's, again, using Mike Klingler's unique step-by-step and easy to understand teaching style.
  • You are provided with a guide (that would be me) to answer any questions, and keep you informed about new ideas to help market your business.
  • You become a part of a close-knit network marketing community that will support you in your efforts, help you promote your content, and share creative and innovative ideas.
  • By sending your team members to the university, they are provided with the same high-quality training you receive, thus helping you to duplicate yourself.
  • For those who wish to step up their marketing program, there is an option to upgrade to the Professional level. You can spend 7 days checking this out for one dollar.
  • Because you are being taught by experienced and successful marketers, you are privy to industry inside information that you can apply to your own marketing campaign.
  • Renegade University will throw its weight behind your marketing efforts like nothing I've ever seen. If you are motivated, show that you are serious about building your business, and are willing to put in the work required, the University rewards you by supporting your articles and helping steer traffic your way.

Let the World Know About Your Greeting Card Business!

A Greeting Card Business is one of my favorite types of MLMs since it appeals to three different levels of potential customers:

  1. Personal use - people who simply want to send quality greeting cards to friends and family for less than they would normally have to pay.
  2. Business use - people who use the system as a business tool to keep in touch with their customers, promote their business, and support their downlines.
  3. Business opportunity - people who are looking for a business opportunity with a generous compensation plan and no inventory to handle.

What Are You Waiting For?!

With all of this to offer, it would be a shame not to get the word out to all of these target markets who might otherwise benefit from knowing you have a Greeting Card Business.Don't limit yourself to only those people you meet while out and about. Don't spend your time looking for prospects. Instead, learn how to market yourself and your business and attract interested people to you!

Want To Send A Card?

Upload a photo to the inside of your card and imagine how powerful it can be as your offline customer relationship marketing system. A physical greeting card not only has a 99% chance of being opened and read, but is more likely to be kept. For example, if a realtor places his or her photo and contact info inside a card which features the new homeowners standing in front of their first home on the front, the card becomes a keepsake. If you are building a greeting card business, the marketing possibilities are practically endless. Have fun!

Great hub, Barbara. I wish my mlm didn't have a policy about not using it's name in advertising.

Barbara, the two sound like a great team. Both are working on social marketing.

Great insight. A lot of people, myself included, have thought of the greeting card as obsolete and a dying product due to ecards but that simply isn't the case. Smart marketers know that because so many people take the cheap way out and market entirely on the internet, those who are willing to spend some money upfront and stand out from the crowd and send a physical card, it will get opened and it will be appreciated. And with the technologies available to personalize your card, from the picture to the text with your handwriting font and the ease of sending, this dovetails perfectly with attraction markeing and leveraging technology. This isn't the greeting card business that used to be advertised on the back of comic books!

Send Out Cards is awesome!!! I don't forget birthdays or anniversaries any more. This system is so cool. It sends reminders for all important dates. As a small business owner, clients really appreciate the personal touch of a real greeting card.

Great hub Barbara.

Great Hub Barb,

Follow-up is key and by using systems like SOC that provides a quality, cost-effective product makes it efficient and fun. It's where attraction marketing transcends to relationship building.

Thanks for sharing!

Hey Barbara,

First off, I love your hub. I think you have some really good material on here. I also noticed that you are a student of Ann Sieg & Mike Klingler. I took Mike's "How I Built My First List' course and I cannot even begin to mention how much he taught me in such a short amount of time. Really gave me the jump start that I needed to get my feet wet marketing my business online.

Thanks for sharing all this valuable knowledge.

Hi Matthew,

Thank you for your comments. Yeah, Mike has the "gift" when it comes to teaching. More importantly, he puts his heart and soul into helping other people which is why I chose him as my primary mentor.

I've had lots of training, but if I had to scrap all but one, it would be with Ann and Mike all the way. :)

Barbara
