When I think of you, I can't help but sing the Tina Turner song, The Best , to myself. So it is of no surprise that the lyrics to that song are scattered throughout this anniversary tribute to you. By the way I've convinced myself she wrote it with you in mind. How else would she know it summarizes exactly how I feel about you and our 30 years together!

You are simply the best you know, better than anyone I've ever met. You take my heart and make it strong, I hang on every word you say. I'd rather be dead than to be torn apart from you. Just as long as I'm in your arms I can be in no better place!

With feelings this intense, I wanted to do something special and unexpected for you, to mark this occasion on Tuesday, August 25.

I've already done the poem thing, the very special cards that took forever to chose thing, but I have never written you, your very own hub. I have never sung your praises in such a public way and I think you will agree this just might beat all the nice things you paid me to write about you on MS forum boards and in private e-mails to friends and relatives. (smile) This just might go down as something you totally did not expect from me and if so, it will be all the more special, in retrospect. I haven't referred to you by name, just in case that is a little too public for you, but as long as Hubpages exists, you'll be a part of it and this tribute will be a constant reminder of my love for you.

So to you, you sweet, sweet man. Happy 30th Anniversary. I Love You!

You are an incredible MAN in a time period when real men are hard to come by, simply because they've never been taught what the word really means, but you - you speak the language of love like you know what it means. You have continued to stretch to improve yourself and the qualities that endear you to me and to all who know and love you like I do. For that I am extremely grateful and because of that I love you more now than I ever have.

Thank you so much for caring whether or not I am happy. For giving me a life time of promises and a world of dreams.

Thank you so much for taking care of me when MS is too much for me too handle. For being ever watchful, but not condescending to me.

I want you to know, all your work is appreciated. I want you to know I never cease thanking God for you and I want you to know I will always love you.

When it matters to you whether you get me just the right fruit from the store - I appreciate it! When you will travel out of your way just because a store didn't have exactly what I asked for - I appreciate it! When we travel and you can't relax and take a nap because you are worried I might get hungry and get the shakes - I appreciate it! When you have to hurry home because I've had an attack that has rendered me unable to move or speak - I appreciate it! When you listen to me rant and rave because I have to go through some new procedure or take some new medicine and you do so patiently and lovingly - I appreciate it! When you cook for me so that I eat nutritiously and you go through the extra time and effort to make it taste the way I like it - I appreciate it!

I appreciate you! I always have and I always will. You are special, you are my hero and you are my best friend. I can't believe I get to have one person in my life who fulfills so many different needs and wants, but every time I look at you, I know I could never ask for anyone who is any better.

Recently, I'm aware I've been watching you and starring at you more than ever before. While it is true its become a source of amusement for us both, I think its time I confess why I do it.

I just can't believe you are here, that you are so good to me, that you love me and that we are still in love after 30 years. You're like my constant bright light. I hate it when you are not around. You keep me laughing even when I think laughing is the last thing I want to do. You come around me and the space instantly brightens. You are a treasure . . . you are MY treasure and like anything precious I plan to take care of you and love you for all of my days, with all of my heart.
