How do you know when you are dealing with candida (otherwise known as yeast)? There are a few yeast infection signs to look for when you try to diagnose if what you are dealing with is, in fact, candida. Candida effects you all throughout your body. The most common form of a candida infection appears in the vaginal region for women. However, there are yeast infection signs all over the body as well.

You will know if you are suffering with candida if you notice the following vaginal yeast infection signs:

· Burning, redness, severe swelling of the vagina and surrounding areas

· Pain during sexual activities

· Any soreness in or around the vagina

· A thick white vaginal discharge that resembles cottage cheese

· A rash around the vagina

There are other yeast infection signs that do not have to do with a vaginal infection. These signs manifest themselves in a variety of ways. Each of the ways are rather common place for every day life, which is often why people do not realize many of their yeast infection signs until they develop symptoms only to do with vaginal yeast infection signs.

Other yeast infection signs that do not have to do with a vaginal candida infection would include: premature aging, arthritis, painful urination, depression, mood swings, chronic rashes, fatigue, irritability, join pain or swelling, pms, feeling run down, digestive pain, muscle aches, short attention span, headaches, acne, impotence, gas, allergies, shortness of breath, memory problems, blurred vision, and brain fog. Each of these are yeast infection signs.

Again, because many of these symptoms are common place for many reasons, they are rarely thought of as yeast infection signs. Therefore, candida in the body is often overlooked or misdiagnosed. Some people notice flare ups or spurts of yeast infection signs. This is when you notice an influx of symptoms and then they seem to disappear for a while only to show up again.

Another term for when yeast infection signs seem to flare up and flare down is called reoccurring candida infections. When you have to deal with yeast infection signs occurring over and over again, it is incredibly frustrating and painful. At first, candida is not much to worry about. But if you let it get out of control, it can be worrisome.
