Vaccines: Please realize you have a choice!

This is a topic that is near and dear to my heart. I know that there are 2 very different sides to the subject of vaccinations but feel that I must at least let people know that they do have a choice on wether to vaccinate or not vaccinate their children. Many don't realize that this is not something we HAVE to do. Your children can get into school without them, they can survive without them. Obviously we are on the non vaccination side of things.

We made our choice after viewing friends who vaccinated and those who didn't. If you are traveling or feel the need to have certain vaccines by all means do what you feel you need to do. But don't just allow them to give the shots because the doctor says to. One of the things we found very quickly is that the peditrican makes most of their money from giving the vaccines. Without it they don't really make much on our children.

Our daughter has not been sick, she does not have bile problems, she is healthy and happy and has never had a vaccine. She gets inocculated when she is out and around other children who have had the vaccines.

We have all heard that Autism is affecting 1 out of 150 children (I personally have 2 friends whose children are currently Austic, but were not born that way). This is problably why I am so adamant on this subject.

If you personally chose to have the vaccines does that make you a bad parent? Or if you have already vaccinated should you feel bad? NO to both! It is something we all think we are doing the right thing. After all why would we ever believe that there was a danger in what the Doctor told us to do? But do your own research, make your own decisions.

Remember like the title of this entry, it is your child, it is your choice! Don't take my word for it, and don't take the doctors word for it, do your own research make your own decisions.
