Being the host of a party is incredibly stressful for any individual, even those people that have repeatedly done it before. In fact, it can give some sleepless nights for weeks before an important party. This is mainly because the role of host has change so drastically in recent years. Previously, it would have meant making all of the preparations yourself for a formal gathering. This is not the case today but the role of host is even more comprehensive as a result of that. Previous generations may have organised a party differently and being a host was definitely a different proposition a few years ago. As such, do not be dictated to. As long as the important people can make it, or at least most of them, then you have found your date and should not change it. • Choose your theme wisely. Once a theme is set in place it cannot be changed because it has to appear on the invitations. If you choose an impractical theme then you may find yourself even more stressed than you would be normally when being the host. Make sure that all the materials you need are within reach in terms of location, highly accessible in terms of their availability and cheap!
